There were 2 - Solaris 2.5.1 had a PowerPC port; Polaris was the much later OpenSolaris on PowerPC project

is it only xhce bloking fast reboot? i though one of the sas hba ones was doing so too?

sjorge: oh, it's lots of stuff, but xhci is the one that's in basically every computer to exist

yeah i was under the impression my SM X11 box has like 2-3 drivers preventing it. xhce is indeed rather prevalent

prep reference machines would have been my guess - I know we scrapped a closet full of them when we were moving out of a Sun building around 2001, but I don't remember what exactly they were

might have been one of the RS/6000 models though
