I don't know the details, but I can see we removed libzfs_jni.so and availdevs with the justification that they were only needed by the ZFS GUI

looks like the removal landed for 11.4 on our side, we just have a hack to make S10 branded zones work since they expected availdevs to come from the global zone

um, I'd guess that bug would also be in oracle solaris:D

tsoome: that was my guess when I filed a bug for our networking team to look at

I still do have the core around too.

though I believe when using libc realloc() instead of libumem, it'll just fail with EINVAL instead of core dumping
