I'm sorry for repeating but it's been a day and it's a holiday, which project owns Illumos Mono support?

I don't work for Unity and it's not FOSS but I suspect they might support us as a platform if we didn't have a broken Mono runtime

notably iteration of network interfaces is known not to work

it would be easier if it's in illumos than if it's in OI, OmniOS and SmartOS

never mind, i answered my own question, fixes to Mono should be committed to upstream and will make it to the relevant projects

precisely :) But information or questions are welcome here.

People on Mastodon also listen when ports of mono and such are made even the BSD people, it gets more people involved.

So if you post something here or on Mastodon I can spread the word a bit to attract others to help.

Upstream corecrl/mono/dotnet (still hazy on what name applies to what bits) have been pretty decent at taking the previous illumos work too

So getting it directly upstream is probably the best aprouch
