YseanRight, but, calling the same number via a SIP client is successful. That's what doesn't make sense to me.
-
barney__mc_ updated stepswitch_resources to include Owner-ID .. much better
-
mc_Ysean: then i would guess the flags aren't correctly set up
-
mc_barney__: nice
-
YseanIt's not complex to set the flags just put "fax" in the field... that's what I did in the past, anyway.
-
YseanWhat's the best to to trace which carrier doc is being used? The only thing I can think of is that I'm missing one.
-
mc_Ysean: stepswitch will log (and you should see Resource-ID in the bridge string sent to ecallmgr/FS)
-
Yseanok, thanks. I'll look for that.
-
mc_you can also use `sup stepswitch_maintenance process_number {NUMBER}` to see the carrier selected for voice
-
mc_and check that resource-id for "fax" in flags
-
Yseanyup... the fax flag is set.
-
YseanThat's why I'm thinking there may be a carrier resource I'm not aware of. Thank you.
-
Yseaner I ididn't read the whole of your last message. I'll do that too. thanks.
-
Yseanhaha... it returns "ok"
-
mc_no carrier selected then (at least from global carriers available)
-
Yseanok, thanks. I'll dig deeper into that side. of mess.
-
barney__mc_ I using kazoo_im_offnet to send an amqp outbound sms message which I have a listener sending the SMS via our sms gateway.. which works well, except when there's an issue I want to send a NACK, but for some reason it thinks an ack is received.. even when I set requeue flag amqp honors it but kazoo_im_offnet doesn't
-
barney__
-
barney__this line is actioned
-
barney__hmm.. if stop my listener..something is still ACK'ing it :/
-
brian-Ysean kazoo is intelligent enough to know that sending faxes is dumb - thats why they are failing
-
Yseanhahaha
-
brian-its the latest AI stuff in there
-
brian-is this a fax? meh
-
brian-bloody faxes - 2023 - get a gmail account for whoever is sending it
-
brian-its being delivered as an email on the other side anyways
-
brian-thats my annual fuck faxes rant over - see you next year!
-
YseanAgain, a US thing for certain industries
-
brian-that excuse is wearing very very thin
-
mc_brian-: lol
-
Yseanhaha
-
YseanTrue none the less.
