12:52:05 <andyf> There are a range of images at https://downloads.omnios.org/media/stable/ that should work under smartos. The cloud variant has cloud-init there which should pick up settings from the hypervisor, otherwise there's a bhyve variant that's all set up to run under bhyve.

13:21:16 <andyf> omnios-r151052b.ngz.zfs.xz is one that is built for running in a NGZ but nothing is guaranteed - you'll be sharing the GZ's SmartOS kernel and who knows how that'll go.
