10:19:03 Hi. 10:20:41 I have OmniOS installed on my Lenovo Thinkcentre M710q Tiny. I have used a usb3 drive as install media, but I wasn't able to boot from it as the bootloader panicked (not found rootdisk or similar), so I had to connect the install drive via a USB2 hub. 10:21:22 I have installed OmniOS onto the internal NVME SSD, so now it boots just fine, however the issue with the USB ports are not yet over. 10:22:34 I've bought a cheap dual-NVME USB enclosure to extend the available space for some non important stuff. The enclosure similar to this: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71M0hkwNngL._AC_SX679_.jpg 10:23:18 It is basically 2 NVME enclosure, molded together, there is no logical connection between the 2 drive. They conencted with separate USB cables to the host. 10:24:31 If I attach the enclosure with the 2 cable to the machine while it is powered off, it will not recognize them during the boot. If I attach it while the OS is running it will be detected and can be used. 10:26:01 I have updated the firmware fo the enclosure, but I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I suspect the real issue buried somewhere in the USB3 support in OmniOS/Illumos, as the enclosure was detected just fine using other operating systems. 10:26:10 Can you give me any hint? 11:12:34 hi 12:52:46 hi
