19:58:44 <|cos|> copypaste: i triggered a rewrite of the ec2 page just a few weeks ago. if i remember correctly andyf completely rewrote it to be up to date then. personally i gave up after failing to reproduce the instructions. i believe it was due to something (a specific machine type?) missing in the datacentre i needed. guess we all wish it to be both up to date and correct, but as you've noticed amazon doesn't
