05:55:23 <shimeike> Newly trying freebsd on a laptop. As an emacs user, was surprised to see that freebsd's emacs port is already updated to a pretest version. I guess this is up to individual port maintainer? Note: I don't mind - in fact, quite happy to see (and can easily build stable if preferred). It just wasn't expected and I'm now curious about port versioning generally.
