08:58:57 <ivy> GoSox: i only have Linux KDE to test, but you might find Settings > Keyboard > Configure Key Bindings... > Ctrl Position does what you want.  (you'll have to work out what "Command" is mapped to, since Unix doesn't usually have that key)
